Hi there! I'm so glad you're here.

I'm Lauren (she/her), a board Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) with a Master’s degree in Clinical & Public Health Nutrition. I am located in Gainesville, FL but work with clients virtually across the country!

I am passionate about helping people reconnect to their body and rebuilt trust with food. My goal is to empower you to feel confident in nourishing your body, so you can find more space and energy for what's important to you. I'll help you move away from restriction, guilt, and self-control, and walk towards more freedom, compassion, and trust.

In addition to specializing in disordered eating, I enjoy working with newly diagnosed diabetes and complex digestive conditions. With my clinical training in functional medicine, I work with you to identify the root cause of symptoms and co-create a path towards more healthful living through nutrition, lifestyle, and mindfulness techniques.

My Story

The purpose of my work is to support the body's innate ability to heal. Food and nutrition connect the natural world with our inner world in a very tangible way, and this idea keeps me inspired, engaged and motivated to do impactful work.

After completing my master's in Clinical Nutrition in London, England and working in the corporate and charity sectors, I found myself exhausted and burnt-out. From this place, I pivoted my career to become a yoga teacher (E-RYT500) and Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS). I completed my clinical supervision with The Clinician's Incubator, which deeply influenced my focus on Health at Every Size® (HAES®), Disordered Eating, and Mental Health Nutrition. I opened my private practice in 2021 and have been helping clients heal ever since.

In my experience, healing is a matter of reconnecting to our bodies. Many tools can get us there, and in my clinic, I utilize those rooted in principles of functional medicine, yogic philosophy, and somatic therapy.

I'm a lifelong learner, and my clinical practice draws on my experience from yoga...
